FBB / SBS Board

Folding Box Board, also referred to as FBB, is one of the types of paperboard which is made up of multiple layers of chemical and mechanical pulp. It is made up of mechanical pulp in between two layers of chemical pulp. The top layer being of bleached chemical pulp with an optional pigment coating, this is a low-density material with high stiffness and has a slightly yellow color, mainly on the inside. Major end uses of folding boxboard are health and beauty products, frozen and chilled packaged foods, confectionaries, pharmaceuticals, graphical uses, and cigarettes.

Being virgin fiber paperboard with consistent purity for product safety, the combination of inner layers of mechanical pulp with outer layers of chemical pulp creates a strong and stiff sheet, making it a low density material with high stiffness. The fully coated grades give great printing and visual impact.

FBB is commonly available in 150-400gsm.

FBB (Folding Box Board)

Folding box board is a chemically and mechanically manufactured multi-ply pulp material making it strong and durable. This material is ideal for printing because of a bleached chemical layer for smooth and high-quality prints. Unlike SBS which is entirely made out of the chemical pulp, folding box board mechanical pulp composition provides a stiffer composition. They both, however, are produced from virgin fibers and suitable for all types of product packaging. These boxes are excellent for packaging foods, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals. FBB is India’s primary packaging substrate used by businesses.

Description of Duplex Board

Duplex Board is a kind of paperboard or cardboard, also named grey board, due to its double side grey color. It consists of two layers, or plies, so people call it duplex board. The exterior one side of the board often is coated with a bright white appearance to give it a glossy sheen. Coated duplex board one side with a glossy coated surface suit for superior printability. Applications of Duplex Board
